Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This privacy policy explains how Tuno handles personal data for the current UK-only, English-only service.

This page is written for the current UK launch scope. It should be reviewed before any non-UK launch or material product change.

Controller And Contact

Tuno AI Ltd is the controller for account, subscription, support, product-use, and marketing waitlist data.

Privacy contact: privacy@asktuno.ai. General contact: hello@asktuno.ai.

Data We Process

We process account details, subscription status, device information, conversation text, usage data, consent choices, safety audit logs, support requests, and optional family oversight data.

If you register interest before launch, we store your email address (encrypted) and any marketing source information so we can tell you when Tuno is available.

Voice audio and screen captures are used in real time to provide the service and are not stored by Tuno.

The browser extension and Outlook add-in send limited safety-check data only when the relevant safety feature is enabled or requested.

Analytics

On our public website we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in our cookie banner, and analytics storage stays denied until then.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.

Where Data Is Processed

Primary application data is stored in UK-hosted Azure services. Some AI processing currently takes place in EU regions, and payment processing is handled by Stripe.

We use subprocessors only where needed to provide the service, secure it, process payments, send emails, run analytics, or operate support.

Your Rights

UK users have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent for optional features, and request data portability.

You can exercise privacy rights by contacting privacy@asktuno.ai. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the service, safety, accounting, support, legal compliance, and product improvement.

Screen captures and voice audio are not stored. Payment records are retained as required for accounting and tax obligations.
