Frequently asked questions

The things people ask us most, ahead of launch.

What is Tuno?

Tuno helps older adults get along with their computer. It explains what's on the screen in plain English, and when something online looks suspicious, it gives you a second opinion before you do anything about it.

Who is Tuno for?

Mainly two groups. Older adults who'd like to stay confident and independent online, and the families who feel better knowing patient help is there when they can't be.

Is it safe?

Yes, and we've thought hard about how it works. Tuno asks your permission, helps you pause before anything risky, and guides you rather than taking the controls. It's worth being clear, though: it isn't antivirus and it can't promise to block every scam. What it gives you is a calm second opinion, so the decision stays yours.

What about my privacy?

Your main data is kept in the UK, and we don't sell personal information to anyone. Some of the AI processing happens in the EU for now. Voice and whatever is on your screen are used in the moment to help you, and aren't stored. The Privacy Policy has the full detail if you'd like it.

Where is Tuno available?

To start with, the UK only, and in English. We'd like to reach more places and languages later on, but that's where we're beginning.

How much will Tuno cost?

We'll share pricing when we launch. Register your interest and you'll be among the first to hear it.

When does Tuno launch?

Soon, in the UK. Leave your email and we'll tell you the moment it's ready. Honestly, that's the quickest way to find out.

We’ll only email you about the Tuno launch, and you can unsubscribe whenever you like. More in our Privacy Policy.
